Come meet Mesa County's newly elected officials!

Come meet Mesa County's new and existing elected officials at a Meet & Greet hosted by the Mesa County Conservation Forum. This is a great opportunity for Western Colorado's sportsmen groups, trail advocates, those concerned about conservation and natural resource management, including representatives of industry, agencies, and conservation organizations.

DATE: Friday, Nov 30th
TIME: 5-7pm
WHERE: Western Colorado Center for the Arts, Grand Junction (Corner of Orchard and 7th)

There is no charge for admission. Light food will be provided accompanied by a cash bar to buy local wine and beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

1st Annual F-Town Gear Down

COPMOBA's Grand Valley Canyons Chapter along with the Endoholics Bike Club sponsored a POKER Ride at the Lunch Loops Area.

 

The Poker Ride was also sponsored by Rapid Creek Cycles, Bicycle Outfitters, DT Swiss, Mountain Khakis and LTR Sports. 12 Riders participated and rode on a loop that started and finished at Gunny Loop Parking Lot. There were 5 stage stops for cards to build your best poker hand. Participants had a chance to get extra cards at each stage by answering a trivia question, doing a stunt, singing a song or wearing some funny hats. The top hand won a wheel set from DT Swiss. Lots of fun and swag was given out. LTR gave Quick read more or view full article out a riding kit, Rapid Creek had water bottles, T-shirts, gift certificates for tune ups and bike rentals, Mountain Khakis had gift cards, Bicycle Outfitters had stickers, T-shirts and donated $100 to Fruita Rotary Club.

 

Everybody got socks from F-Town GearDown, Family Health West gave out cloth grocery bags filled with swag, SingleTracks provided water bottles with a cool tire repair kit inside. Everybody walked away with something including beer tickets and raffle tickets for prizes at the Fest in Fruita. Raffled prizes where 5 Strider bikes, MRP Forks, MRP Chain Guards

At the Fest in Fruita's Civic Center Park COPMOBA set up a booth on both Friday and Saturday to sell gear and sign up new members.
