Please join us Aug 12-13 for the Crane Lake Trail construction event!
Crane Lake Trail Construction Event
August 12th- 13th, 2017
You are invited to join Antonelli’s Advanced Automotive, COPMOBA and the Grand Valley Forest Service Ranger District on the Grand Mesa as we build a new trail. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary.

There will be a BBQ after the trail work on Saturday with several door prizes awarded to thank all the volunteers.
Please come prepared to hike to the work site. Wear long pants, work gloves and eye protection. Bring plenty of water and some snacks to tide you over until the BBQ at 3:00 pm.
Take highway 65 to Lands End Road, in Quick read more or view full article about a mile, turn left on Flowing Park Road FS 109, travel 4-5 miles and turn right on Crane Lake Road FS109c. Travel ¼ mile, go past the cabin and look for the COPMOBA staging area.
Everyone is welcome to camp in that area both Friday and Saturday nights.
Starts at 9:00 am both day.
Saturday BBQ at 3pm
Sunday work until 12:00 pm, then ride after?

Grand Valley Canyons Chapter 2016 Annual Report

Palisade Plunge Update!
On Monday, November 21st, the Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved an application to State of Colorado Department of Local Affairs for a $200,000 Federal Lands Coordination Grant for the Palisade Plunge. Scott Winans and John Howe spoke in support of the application. Award announcements expected in February 2017. Thank you Commissioners and County Staff!
