Want to ride 32 miles of amazing single-track with 6000' of  downhill? Ride off the Grand Mesa, with stunning views over the entire Grand Valley, all the way to Palisade! Then we need your help because it's time to...

Power the Plunge!!!
The Palisade Plunge is 32 miles of sweet riding back-country singletrack that will connect the top of the Grand Mesa (10,700') to the Town of Palisade, CO, (4,700') via - yes, 6000' of relief, and the style of trail you've come to expect from COPMOBA. The Plunge is guaranteed to offer a fast, fun, and challenging ride.

The Plunge is a long, complex trail that will require substantial financial support, and we need your help to Power the Plunge!  While our plan is to obtain much of this funding through various grant funding options, it is critical that the mountain bike, run, and walk community is able to support the project through a locally driven fundraising campaign.  Those grants require matching dollars, and now is the time to pitch in!

Phase 1 of the project is to construct roughly the lower half of the route.  This will provide ~18 miles of point to point route, plus new loop options adjacent to the existing Palisade Rim Trail.  We're working to get as much quality trail on the ground for everyones riding pleasure as soon as possible.  Construction start is planned for Spring 2019 if funding is secured, and Phase 2 will follow directly after Phase 1.

The Power the Plunge campaign is the best opportunity for individuals and businesses to donate to this project.  You can donate at any level, at any time, and as often as you’d like.  Our goal is to raise $30,000 by July 29 to Power the Plunge, and we can only do it with your help!
After you’ve donated below, please share this email with your friend network and let them know how important this project is for the singletrack community of Colorado.  If you'd like to donate by check instead of online, donations can be mailed to PO Box 4602, Grand Junction, CO 81502 with a notation that the donation is to Power the Plunge.
