Hey Merms, join us on Tuesday, April 22 at the Kokopelli Trails! We will have two options, laps on Rustlers or Horsethief trails. Rustlers is a great option for beginners or if you're looking to do a chill, social pace.
We will meet at the main Kokopelli parking lot and roll out by 5:30pm. Come out to enjoy desert spring riding! Post-ride socializing encouraged!
Join us for the first MUT dig day of the year! We'll be working to repair any damage from weather or wildlife that occurred over the winter.

Enjoy a rad selection of biking films, plus awesome prizes and giveaways—all for a great cause. Proceeds from the event will help fund new trails at RAT, so come out, get inspired, and give back to the trails!
COPMOBA will be providing event support to the Fruita Fat Tire Festival. Volunteer opportunities include include serving beer, collecting money, and assisting with securing entrances to the event area.
Proceeds from beer sales will be donated to COPMOBA.

With distances of 13ish and 19ish miles, this race is perfect for the whole family. Stay tuned for course maps, classes and registration info coming soon! We will also be looking for volunteers if you aren't interested in racing but would still like to be involved. The Electric Hills Race is hosted by MUT (Montrose Uncompahgre Trails), a chapter of Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack.

Volunteers ages 14+ will help build the final segment of the North Fruita Desert Trail. VOC first assisted in the trail’s construction in 2022, and now we’re returning to complete the last 3-mile segment! Designed primarily for mountain bikers, the trail will also be open to hikers and horseback riders.
Join us at Hot Tomato any time (or several times) throughout the month of June! 1% of sales of slices and beer go towards supporting the trails on the western slope.

Our 7th annual RAT Race will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025
The RAT Race is a fun XC mountain bike race on flowy singletrack, encompassing the best trails at RAT trails. The RAT Race is hosted by Ridgway Area Trails, a chapter of Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA), a 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for mountain biking in western Colorado by building and maintaining sustainable singletrack.

Hey Dirt Merms! Join us by the river on Wednesday, March 19th for our season kick-off social and gear swap. Camp Eddy has once again opened up their space for us to hang out and bring in the new season. This is the perfect time to meet rad slaydies in the area and make new activity friends. Or just come and enjoy the views and get toasty by the fire pit! We will also hold a gear swap, so plan to bring gently used or new gear to swap (doesn’t have to be only mountain biking gear).
Delicious Pablos’s Pizza and snacks will be available to munch on. You can also BYOB! Camp Eddy will also have beverages for purchase until 7pm.
Make sure to RSVP “Going” so I can get a headcount for the pizza order. Thanks all and hope to see you there!
